There are some people you hire to provide a service, and then there are those rare people who become part of the memory itself. Evelia was absolutely that person for our family. ❤️

We had the privilege of working with Evelia & her beautiful family for my daughter's “Baby in Bloom” baby shower, and I can honestly say that she helped make an already precious milestone even more beautiful than we imagined.

From our very first interaction, Evelia was warm, professional, attentive, creative, and incredibly thoughtful. She didn’t simply hear what we wanted, she understood the moments we were trying to create. Every detail felt intentional, beautiful, and personal. Where do I even begin? ❤️

My fiancé and I originally planned to get married in the backyard of our home in Altadena in July 2025. We had envisioned celebrating our love in the place we called home.

Then January 8th 2025, changed everything.

We woke up in the middle of the night to our home filled with smoke and had to flee with only the clothes on our backs. Later, we watched on the news as the Eaton Fire destroyed our home and our beloved Altadena community.

I was devastated. I couldn’t even imagine what life was going to look like after losing everything. In the middle of all that uncertainty, my fiancé looked at me and said, “I still want to marry you in July.” ❤️

And somehow, through everything we were dealing with, he continued planning our wedding.

By March, he had secured an Airbnb, vendors, and everything we needed. Then, just 30 days before our wedding, we received another devastating call—the Airbnb was no longer available for events after another group had damaged the property.

I thought, How are we going to find another wedding venue in 30 days?

We stayed up all night searching Peerspace, and around 4:00 AM, we came across “Gorgeous Luxury Villa.” The pictures were absolutely beautiful. I immediately sent a message, hoping and praying we could see it that weekend.

By 6:00 AM, I had a response. 🙏🏾

When we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest smile from Mrs. Evelia. As we walked through the property, we were in awe—the beautiful rooms, the backyard views, the waterfall flowing into the pool, the huge basketball court, and all the different areas where our guests could gather. It was even better than the pictures.

We shared our story with Mrs. Evelia and explained that we had lost our home in the Eaton Fire and had now lost our wedding venue with only weeks to spare.

From that moment, she went above and beyond.

She helped us think through the setup, gave us suggestions, and reassured us that everything was going to be okay. We were especially worried because we had to cancel some of our original vendors, but Mrs. Evelia had connections for everything we needed—from food and vendors to waitstaff and more.

A HUGE weight was lifted from our shoulders.

Throughout the entire process, her communication was open, honest, encouraging, and reassuring—everything an overwhelmed bride needed in the days leading up to her wedding.

And then came our wedding day. ❤️

The staff was pleasant, professional, and ready to help from beginning to end. The food setup was absolutely beautiful, and the food tasted AMAZING. Our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the property was. Some said they felt like they were in a movie!

Everything was so beautifully thought out and executed.

What started as one of the most difficult and uncertain seasons of our lives somehow became the wedding of our dreams.

After losing our home, losing our original wedding plans, and then losing our replacement venue only 30 days before the wedding, we could have easily given up.

Instead, we found Mrs. Evelia, their family and their incredible staff.

We will forever be grateful for the love, care, patience, and attention they showed us. They didn’t just provide us with a beautiful venue—they helped turn what felt like another nightmare into a wedding dream come true.

She went above and beyond anything we could have imagined, and our wedding was truly more beautiful and special than we could have ever dreamed.

Six months later, our guests are still raving about our wedding and all the little details that made it so memorable. We are incredibly grateful to Evelia for making such an important season of our lives so special. Evelia’s home is a beautiful place on a hill overlooking the city with a sound system, pool, outdoor bbq/teppanaki grill- tennis/basketball court- and that’s just the outside- but- even more impressive than the house is Evelia- her attn to detail was fantastic! Dining tables with table cloths, a grazing table cloths, flowers and centerpieces, a grazing table, a cake table, a huge built-in bar, a space for band or dj, and an indoor/outdoor lounge- Evelia took care of all the details and made sure the party ran smoothly, she even had people to make sure there were no accidents like tripping or slipping and she has a great eye for decorating. It’s breathtaking! My party was everything I imagined and more! People are still talking about it!
